Restored

Live the Story. Tell the Story.

Today’s youth are more digitally connected than any generation in history and yet often feel more socially exempt than ever. In the face of friends, family, fashion, fantasy and fame, they search for someone or something that will tell them who they are and why they are here – longing for a reality greater than the one they are experiencing.

Through Scripture we find that our identity and calling is not something we discover or create on our own, but instead is given to us by God. As Christopher J.H. Wright states in his book The Mission of God, “The whole Bible renders to us the story of the Triune God’s mission through God’s people in their engagement with God’s world for the sake of the whole of God’s creation.”

With this in mind, the theme for Challenge 2014 is Restored: Live the story. Tell the story. Through an overview of the storyline of the Bible – Genesis to Revelation – Challenge 2014 will call students to live their unique Ephesians 2:10 roles in God’s grand narrative.
