Challenge provides groups the opportunity to build their own unique experience. Groups can choose from several options how they want to spend their afternoons.
Afternoon Options
Groups can sign up for opportunities to minister through service and prayer in the afternoons.
- Prayer outreach is intercessory and evangelism based outreach utilizing prayer stations and prayer walking. Training is provided.
- Service projects mobilize groups to serve with their hands, muscles, and servant hearts. Projects include restoring parks and playgrounds, working with homeless shelters, partnering with other city organizations, and coming alongside of local churches as an extension into their communities.
Pre-registration is required.

Take learning to a new level with a variety of labs that provide students with practical skills for the other 51 weeks of the year.
Several open-play rec options are available from 1 – 5 p.m. each afternoon and 9:45 – 11 p.m. each evening, including volleyball, ultimate frisbee, kickball, soccer, 9-square, gaga ball, basketball, and various lawn games.
On Thursday afternoon, groups can participate in organized tournaments in ultimate frisbee, soccer, basketball and volleyball. Sign ups for these tournaments will occur during Wednesday breakfast; look for the sign-up table in the dining hall!
God is boldly moving throughout the whole earth to bring people of every tribe, language and nation to Himself (Revelation 7:9). The ReachGlobal Experience is a 60-minute, hands-on experience that will engage students with what God is doing around the world.
At Challenge 2022, this experience will focus on Japan and will be available Monday through Thursday.
Pre-registration is required. As churches register for Challenge on UltraCamp, they have the option of also registering for the ReachGlobal Experience. If a church doesn’t register for the ReachGlobal Experience when they initially register for Challenge, they can fill out our registration change form, or they can register onsite as space allows.
Hang out and enjoy activities such as spikeball, arts and crafts, video games and gaga ball in Trinity Central, hosted by our strategic partner, Trinity International University.
Feel free to take an afternoon to pull your group away for some intentional time together by enjoying area attractions. Go to www.visitKC.com for more visitors’ info.
Prayer moves
Prayer Moves is an optional, organized prayer and worship time before each evening Gathering. Students will seek the face of God alongside hundreds of other students.
